The repairs to the leaking flat roof of the pavilion have been completed. Over the next few weeks, the interior and exterior will be redecorated, and work is expected to be finished early in the new year. A re-opening event is being planned - more details nearer the time.

The Parish Council is planning to build a BMX track through the wooded areas of Bell Meadow. This is in response to requests from local families. To get it right, the Parish Council would like to hear the views of local children and their parents. Councillors will be available at the Village Hall Fayre from 10.00 to 12.00 on Saturday 28th November. Please do come along and have your say!

In the Parish Plan survey organised recently by the Parish Council, there were several constructive comments about Bell Meadow. Villagers like the green space of Bell Meadow, but would like to see the facilities used for community events as well as sport.
When the repairs and redecoration in the pavilion are complete, the Wantsum Sports Association committee will be organising social events for the village. These will be publicised on this web site and in the Parish Magazine.
Please let us know what type of events you would like to see organised.

Congratulations to the AFC Aussie Saturday team who have achieved their ambition of top position in the Thanet District League Division One. They finished second in their league last season, so nothing less than top-spot was the target for this year!
